Chimpanzee safari home is Gombe in Tanzania. A mountain strip that borders the shores of Lake Tanganyika, about 16 km from Kigoma, Tanzania’s smallest park covers just 52 sq km. Reached only by boat from Kigoma, Gombe Stream National Park offers visitors the rare chance to observe the chimpanzee communities made famous by British explorer Jane Goodall. A number of monkeys species also be seen including red colobus, red-tail and blue monkeys. The area is heavily forested making it is unsuitable habitat for carnivores and very safe for walking safaris, is the best place for Bird watchers. We provide eco lodge accommodations for the responsible travel package.
